Waiting is one of the more difficult experiences in life. We naturally prefer movement, clear answers, and visible progress. Isaiah 40:31
"But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

This verse describes waiting in an unexpected way. Rather than presenting waiting as inactivity, it connects waiting on the Lord with renewal and strength. The image of an eagle rising on air currents suggests a different kind of movement, one that does not rely on constant effort. Romans 5:3-4
